Series circuit

• The total effective resistance is the individual resistance . i.e..,   Reff : R1 + R2 + R3........+Rn

• Only one path for the current flow.

• The current flowing through all the resistance with be the same and equal to the total current.

• The voltage is divided across each resistance according to the value of resistance.

• The input voltage is equal to the sum the voltage drop in individual resistance. i.e.,
