Resistors is Parallel

  • Where resistors are connected across one another one such that the same voltage is applied to each, then they are said to be in parallel.
  • The current in each resistor is the different and the current I taken from the supply divides amoung all the three resistor.

  • Each resistor has a current path,

                  I1 = E/R1 ; I2 = E/R2

The voltage across each resistance of the parallel circuit is the same.
The current in each branch is given by ohm;s law.
